Many of us have been conditioned, when things are difficult or chaotic, to tough it through. Suck it up. Stuff it down. Get back to work.
You all know by now I’m not a medical professional. But I’ve got to say this approach does not sound healthy.
When do we heal? Heal from the emotional wallop? When does that get to happen?
Today I thought I’d encourage a pause, and acknowledge how difficult these days have been. I’ll get back to work, and I hope you can too. In the meantime, I’m sharing again these picutres of my megafloof. Let her distract you even just for a few minutes. Maybe share these with a friend. Better yet, call that friend.

My cat’s name is Barley, she’s 11 and perfect in every way. I hope these encourage you to make time for healing. It was a wallop.
I’ll see you back here next week with a podcast episode. Don’t forget to reach out to a friend some time between now and then, eh?
